Making a Bequest to Keeping Watch
To carry out its vital work, Keeping Watch relies on the financial support of the naval family and the broader Australian community and bequests make up an important part of these contributions. After carefully considering your family and friends in your Will, making a bequest to Keeping Watch ensures that you will leave a lasting legacy, which will continue to make a difference to Navy families in need well into the future.
Thank you for your invaluable support of Keeping Watch.
As a guide, Keeping Watch recommends the following wording for general bequests:
'I give [describe asset or amount or my whole estate or the residue of my estate] to the Royal Australian Navy Relief Trust Fund ABN 49 934 525 476 (the Fund) to be used for the general purposes of the Fund and direct that the receipt of anyone of the Trustees for the time being of the Fund shall be sufficient discharge to my trustees.'
